Expectation

Hey everyone. How's summer treating for those of you in States? For those in Malaysia, is it holidays yet? I'm done with one week of Summer 2011 classes. It all went well. 1 week down, five more weeks to go. Not too bad. I am assisting a TA for Micrb 107 class and it is  lot of fun to know all the lecturers and "back-scene" stories of the BMB department. Oh well, I expect a lot from myself this summer academically because I need to raise my suffering GPA. I'm definitely looking forward to get back home and take a decent break before it all starts again in the Fall.

I saw this status of my primary school teacher on Facebook and could not agree more. It says: Being happy does not mean everything is perfect. It means you've decided to see beyond imperfections. It is so true because if you're getting upset of one simple thing, it would be hard to be even happy. So just live happily no matter what.

I always believe meet expectations that is made by you, acknowledge expectations from others, don't expect much of others, but show respect and love to others, and most importantly, work hard to meet all the expectations made by you to achieve things that you want.

So who do you EXPECT will win American Idol? My guess for final two was right. Scotty is going to win based on my expectation. I would still prefer Pia Toscano standing on the finale stage but that's how things work. Remember, see things that are beyond imperfections! There are positive remarks for both Lauren and Scotty as well.They're both talented young kids. I will not take that form them . So, I'm excited for the finale next week. I need to study early for my test if I would want to watch the show peacefully.

I am glad when friends (who are not my followers) who read my blog, send me text messages saying how they feel about my writing. You guys who read are my motivation to keep writing in this space that has the tendency to be dormant during busy months. I appreciate you guys who're following my blog updates although all that I  write is about my life.
